Surprise Horse of The Month - Schleich Shire Mare

There can never be enough Shires! I keep coming back to these molds and they always bring out something new out of them, making variations is definitely one of my favorite things about sculpting model horses.

She received a long long mane, I haven't gone that all out in a while! I think this classic 2005 Shire is never a bad choice, her expressive face and great anatomy allows lovely customs to be made. I added character by re sculpting her face and eye area. Her tail is slightly in movement, matching her wavy and curly mane.
